Day 1: Drive from Arusha to Londorossi National Park Gate

A day 1 hike to Kilimanjaro will start just after breakfast and the Utmost Expeditions guide will pick you and drive four hours from Arusha (1400m) to Londorossi National Park Gate (2100m). In the village near Londorossi Gate, you will receive a packed lunch and can buy mineral water for the climb. Then the final 50 minutes of the drive leading up to the gate will be on a bumpy forest track requiring fwd. vehicles. At the entrance National park gate, our Utmost Expeditions guides and porters distribute the supplies and register with the Kilimanjaro National Parks. You are now ready to begin your 3-hour hike into the rainforest. Be on the lookout for black and white Colobus monkeys!

Along the way, you will stop for an afternoon lunch break and arrive at Mti Mkubwa Campsite in the early evening. The porters, who arrive at the campsite before the clients, your crew will set up your tent and boil water for drinking and washing. Your chef cook will prepare a snack then dinner for the clients,  Dinner, and overnight at Mti Mkubwa Camp.

Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp – Shira 2 Camp

After early Breakfast, you will start a Kilimanjaro climb passing rainforest and into the heather moorland zone. You will cross many streams and hikes over a plateau that leads to Shira two Camp At this campsite; you will be next to a stream and have a panoramic view of Mount Kilimanjaro Western Breach and its glaciers in the East. Similar to the previous night, your tents will be set up before you arrive at camp and Utmost Expeditions porters will filter your drinking water. You will enjoy evening snacks then dinner prepared by your chef cook. Be prepared for a cold night as temperatures drop below freezing at this exposed camp, Dinner and overnight at Shira Two Camp

Day 3: Shira – Lava Tower Barranco Camp

On day three of your Lemosho Kilimanjaro hike, after breakfast, you will leave the moorland entering semi-desert and rocky landscapes. After 4 to 5 hours of hiking east, you will face the Lava Tower 4630 m. with your packed lunch served at the Tower and trek have the option of hiking the massive Lava Tower but we don’t recommend, it is normal for climbers to start feeling the effects from the high altitude including headaches and shortness of breath we strongly recommend taking a lot of liquid bars. You proceed with a gentle descend from Lava Tower 4630m to the Barranco Campsite 3950m. Descent gives trekkers a huge advantage to allow their bodies to adjust to the conditions of high altitude to low altitude. Descent to camp takes around 1 to 2 hours to reach a camp, Dinner, and overnight at Barranco Camp

Day 4: Climbing Kilimanjaro Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

A short day hike on the Kilimanjaro begins after early morning breakfast, it is now time to face the Great Barranco Wall / Breakfast! Normally it may look intimating at the first point; climbers state that this Class 2 trek is usually much easier than they anticipated. At the top of the Barranco Wall, you will have a scenic view of Heim Glacier and will be clearly seen above the clouds. Continue passing up and down in the Karanga Valley up to Karanga Camp 3950m, Dinner, and overnight at Karanga Camp.

Day 5: Karanga Camp – Barafu Hut

In your day 5 Kilimanjaro Lemosho route climb connects the trail with the Mweka Route, which the trail is used to descend on the final two days, you will continue climbing for an hour and reach Barafu Hut. This is the last water point for the porters because there is no accessible water at the base Barafu Camp 4550m. Your sleeping tents will be exposed to wind and rocks so it is important for climbers to familiarize themselves with the camp before nighttime. Get an early dinner will be served so trekkers can get time to rest before pushing to the summit on the same night.

Day 6: Summit Kilimanjaro Barafu Camp – Uhuru Peak descend -Mweka

At the midnight you will wake up have some hot drinks then begin your summit attempt. The hike heads northwest and you will ascend over the stone loser screen, many trekkers feel that this is the most mentally and physically Kilimanjaro challenging part of the hike. About 5 to 6 hours, you will stop at Stella Point 5685m which is on the crater rim. Explore the magnificent sunrise from the Mawenzi Peak; then continue ascending for about 1 to 2 hours on a snow-covered trail to the main PEAK 5895m, reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro is an unforgettable experience! On the top, you will spend a short time taking photos and drinking tea before your descent to Barafu. The trek down to Barafu Camp takes about 3 to 4 hours. Eat and have a little rest then you will continue descending down to Mweka Hut 3100m for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate

On the final day on Mount Kilimanjaro, you will have an early breakfast and celebrate, then you will have a gentle descend for four hours back to Mweka Park Gate, Where you will sign their names to receive certificates, then you will descend to the Mweka village for 1 hour. Your team will prepare a hot lunch after lunch you will drive back to Arusha
